Eligibility For High Security Number Plate
If you have any 2 wheeler /Auto/ 3 wheeler/E-Rickshaw/Tractor/ 4 wheeler or other heavy motor vehicle, you are eligible to get a New HSRP plate issued by the Transport Department. HSRP number plate is mandatory for all motor vehicles (Either New Motor Vehicles or Old Motor Vehicles) as per official notification. If your HSRP number plate is damaged (front side/ rear side) then you have to order again and fix the same as per notification from authorized dealer.

- High Security -The biggest advantage of HSRP number plate is that it cannot be changed very easily as this number plate is installed on the vehicle with non-removable/non-reusable snap locks. It is not possible to remove snap locks in normal situations. The high security feature of the number plate prevents the fraudster from duplicating or removing the number plates. With the help of which your Vehicle becomes very secure and the chances of theft are much less.
- Prevents vehicle-related scams – HSRP number plates enable the authorities to detect the authenticity of a vehicle, thereby curbing vehicle-related fraud. It contains all the information about the vehicle and the owner in a central database. This helps concerned authorities to locate the stolen vehicle quickly and stop all the crimes associated with it.
- Convenience in tracking – Officials can easily track HSRP number plates through LASER recognition system. The unique identification number present in HSRP can be detected very easily by ANPR-enabled cameras installed on the roads. - Readable fonts – Before the introduction of the high security number plate, vehicle owners used to customise their number plates as per their preferred font, colour, etc. This made vehicle tracking very difficult. - When booking HSRP for your vehicle, you must know your Vehicle Registration Number, Vehicle Engine Number, Vehicle Chassis Number ,Vehicle Owner Name and Vehicle Owner Address which is written in Vehicle Registration Certificate

- Step 3- Now visit the official portal of BOOK MY HSRP.
- Step 4- Now on the Home page of Book my HSRP click on the HSRP number plate with colour sticker for number plate and sticker and click on the Only Colour Sticker for sticker only.
- Step 5- Click on first option HSRP number plate with colour sticker.
- Step 6- In Booking Details section enter the vehicle registration state by drop down menu, vehicle registration number, last five digit of vehicle Chassis number & engine number in the particular column and captcha code.
- Step 7- Now After filling all this, you will get two options, one that you can go to get yourself transferred to the agency and the other for home delivery Option (this option is not available in all cities) After that you have to pay the HSRP Fee online and print the receipt.
