Short Information :

On 14.June.2022 The Union Cabinet approved an attractive recruitment scheme for Indian youth to serve in the Armed Forces. The scheme is called AGNIPATH and the youth selected under this scheme will be known as Agniveers. Now Armed Forces (Indian Navy, Indian Airforce & Indian Army) Recruitment to the post of Agniveers to be done under Agnipath scheme 2022. A press release has been issued in which 46000 posts will be recruited in 2022. In Agnipath Scheme/ Yojana for  Army / Armed Forces recruitment youth whose age is between 17.5 to 23 years and minimum qualification is High School pass can participate.

Indian young people whose age is between 17.5 to 23 years can apply in this Agneepath scheme. Agneepath will allow youth to serve in the armed forces for a period of four years. After completing 04 years following benefits will be given under Agnipayh Scheme:-

• Up to 25% will be enrolled in the regular cadre of the Armed Forces.
• Agniveer will be given 10% reservation in CAPF recruitment.
• Agniveer will be given 10% reservation in the recruitment of Assam Rifles.
• Agniveer will be given reservation in Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment, Madhya Pradesh Police Recruitment and other state recruitment.
